Hey there fellas! As you might know we are in cape town at the very moment so we got lots of stuff to do. Since I promised some making-of stuff at the very beginning I used Marie’s first shoot with the gorgeous Lisa from Ice Models Capetown featuring the Olympus OMD EM-1, Olympus Germany was kind enough to give her for the trip, to make a little behind the scenes video. My hands are super shaky as it seems and my grading skills are far away from perfect but this might give you an idea how it looks like when we’re shooting.
We arrived in Cape Town on Tuesday last week. Marie already organized the before mentioned model and set up a quick shoot on the next day. Theo Schnürer (@ Blossom Management) jumped on board to complete the team with his hair and make-up skills and we headed off to Maiden’s Cove, a lovely little beach which is deserted most of the time. It was also the first time Marie tried the EM1. And what should I say. since we’re here her Nikon is covered in dust! 😀
We really hope you enjoy the little behind the scenes video I did at that shoot and please let us know your thoughts or put your questions in the comments section!
I shot this video with my a6000 with the Zeiss f4/24-70mm attached. To balance my exposure I put a variable ND Filter on the lens. I processed the files with FinalCut and did some grading in DaVinci Resolve! It was the first time ever I attempted something related to video so please forgive any mistakes you might find!
We already have been able to finish some of the pictures with dgtl-craft.com doing the post-production, so please enjoy them aswell!
